The Cherry Creek Class of 87' 30 year Reunion will be Saturday August 5, 2017 at 6pm at Bar Louie in DTC. The Early Bird registration price is $45 and expires on Friday July 21st. After that tickets will increase in price to $65 which will also be the price at the door. Registering by Friday July 21 guarantees you a goodie bag and a name tag with your picture! If you attended the 20 Year Reunion five years ago, you may remember that we had some left over funds. The Reunion Committee decided that instead of sending everyone a refund of $2.50 we would use the funds as a grant for a 2007 CCHS Graduate. The graduate we chose was Antoaneta Bodurova. She and her mother moved here from Bulgaria a few years before. Despite not speaking English when she arrived Antoaneta, Toni learned very quickly and ended up graduating in the top of her class. At the time of our last reunion she was bound for CU. We took our left over funds and gave them to her in the form of a gift card that allowed her to buy the computer she needed to start CAD classes at CU. Patrick and I have keep up with her progress via Facebook and she has now graduated from CU and is waiting to hear from Grad schools. This young lady is pretty amazing and I know we made a wise decision for our gift! Here is a letter from Toni to all of us with an update on her progress.
